Description
Italian Riesling – or Welschriesling, in Hungarian “Olaszrizling”, is a late ripening white wine variety that has nothing at all in common with Riesling, if we disregard the pronounced acidity. On the palate, this wine with apple and gooseberry aromas is animating and refreshing. It thrives very well in our clay/loess soil, sprouts late and also ripens very late. This wine was aged for 6 months in stainless steel and in wooden barrels. Taste: restrained fruity, nutty.
